Green, native of Hot Springs, graduated from Lake Hamilton High
School in 1991. He received an associate's degree in graphic design
and commercial art at Remington College in Little Rock, AR. In 1995,
while attending college, Kurt had the opportunity to work on several
murals for some local and out-of-town businesses and individuals.
In 1996, Kurt joined the staff at the Sentinel-Record where he
worked for eight years before becoming a freelance artist. Kurt
left the paper to pursue his career in art with the help of his
wife Tammy, son Lance, and Stevie Spargo at the Real Estate Company,
where his art is currently being displayed.
Even though his true
passion is art, Kurt has designed a poster for the Arkansas AIDS Foundation and has participated in the Hot Springs Street Painting
Festivals. Kurt also has an interest in photography. He loves to
show his freedom of expression and hopes others also enjoy his work.
Artist Interpretation:
"For the Adirondack Chair design, I thought the horse scene captures
the moment of crossing the finish line."
