Artist Bio: Originally from Beech Grove, Indiana, Jeanne moved to Arkansas in 1991. Her interest in art started at the age of 10 when an art teacher neighbor told her she had talent. 

She majored in art in school hoping to become a commercial artist, but never achieved her goal, painting more or less as a hobby over the years. 

The encouragement from two very special people in her life propelled her forward once again to do what she loves most: to paint and create art.

Artist Interpretation: "The lighthouse is a sign of hope for me and I chose it as inspiration for my chair. Being a Christian, lighthouses have always been God's light showing me the way to calm waters, past the storms of life."
