Artist Bio: Sylvia Laurens Boles is a featured artist at Golden Leaves Gallery in Hot Springs, and resides in Royal where her home in the country provides unlimited inspiration for her art. Born in Africa, Sylvia studied at the prestigious Johannesburg School of Art in Africa. Her works are in private collections internationally. 

Many years of traveling throughout Europe and studying art collections in museums led to a move to the United States where she became a professional artist and art teacher. Many of her students over the past thirty years have excelled in Audubon and other contests and gone on to become professional artists in their own right.

Artist Interpretation: Sylvia's design was inspired by her two-year venture into Adirondack country, where she opened a small art gallery. Depicted in her entry are the lifestyle, wildlife and nature of the area.
