Artist Interpretation:
"When I read an article in the paper about the Arts Cooperative Team
organizing this show involving Adirondack chairs and local artists,
I decided to give it a shot.
"I thought it was a good concept and
a medium that I had not explored. The design idea came like any
of my other paintings. I try to take a simple design and draw the
viewer in with some sort of special feature. In this case, thick
glittery paint is used to catch attention and little numbers and
saying are used to keep attention. The pearl-like quality of the
paint provides beauty and a variety of color from every angle."
